Per...I don't have an answer, but I do have a guess. Perhaps the demand for pricier, humanely raised stuff isn't that great in Texas yet. And Niman Ranch beef is so good and raised not so terribly far from Austin and they've been at it for so long and have such a recognizable brand--who wants to step to that? Plus, grass-fed's a toughie in them parts, being the desert and all.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11206043870100390101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7839771644552396625.post-4763389734297507072009-03-31T12:33:00.000-04:002009-03-31T12:33:00.000-04:00HELLO YOU!First of all, I miss you. Second of all,...HELLO YOU!

First of all, I miss you. Second of all, I just got caught up on all your blog posts now that I am job-free (sounds better than "unemployed, no?)

Reading everything you wrote made me SO hungry, I am going to go forage in the, ah, cafés and trendy sandwich shops of Park Slope for a meal.

I also had a q: why is it hard to find good free-range beef in these United States?? It's not like we don't have enough space... that struck me as odd, especially in Texas!

xoxo
LauraLaurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09634048194590306619noreply@blogger.com
